Cici Boiler Rooms and Hurst are redefining what a hospital boiler room should look like. Hurst Series 500 4-pass wetback boilers are the ultimate in efficiency, reliability and affordability for scotch marine firetube boilers.

The Hurst Series 500 boiler features a 4-pass design, allowing for a maximum of heat transfer time from the flame to the water (increasing efficiency). In addition, the wetback design eliminates the rear door refractory, decreasing maintenance costs and down time.

Cici recently performed the initial start-up on two 600 HP Hurst boilers for the new Deaconess Gateway Hospital between Evansville and Newburgh, Indiana.

In addition, the burners featured advanced microprocessor based flame safeguard controls tied into a combined CC700 lead-lag/oxygen trim system from Century Controls. The leadlag has the ability to stage and sequence the boilers, and the oxygen trim further increases the already high efficiency of the system.
