The new Parkland Hospital Central Utility Plant (CUP) was completed Dec 14, 2012, and is capable of producing 192,000 pounds per hour of steam. The Parkland CUP project is on target to achieve a LEED Gold Certification for the design, construction and operation of a high performance green building.
